Mother Nature did not make it easy on the competitors this year. Saturday had 30 MPH winds, gusting to 50 MPH. If that wasn’t bad enough, Sunday was 40 MPH, gusting to 60 MPH! A tail wind was predominant both days, shifting mainly from left to right. The first relay both days had the luxury of shooting the falling down targets. After the first relay was done it was a crap shoot as to whether or not you would have any standing animals left after a gust. By the 3rd animal of the day we were pretty much relegated to shooting just the swingers. A good time was had by all, in spite of the near hurricane winds!
